Miracle Monday: Bryce

Happy #MiracleMonday!  This week we get to meet Bryce!  Does he look familiar?  If so, that’s because we met his identical twin brother last week!  Bryce is 14 years old and from Fulton, MO.  He was born extremely premature at 26 weeks and was in critical condition for several weeks.  At 2 days old he suffered a brain bleed and doctors were concerned about the damage suffered.  Doctors think his brain rewired around the damage because there are no signs of developmental delay.  Bryce does have mild cerebral palsy, but does physical therapy and recently started working out to get stronger.  He loves talking to Shags on 96.7 and listening to music on the radio.  Check out the questions below to learn more about Bryce!

What is your favorite color? Black

What is your favorite food? MOD Pizza

What is your favorite movie? Yugioh

Who is your favorite Disney princess/ super hero/ athlete? Iron man

What is your favorite holiday? Christmas

Where is your favorite place to be/travel to? Branson

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Hanging out with Family.

What is your favorite game to play? Chess

What are three words to describe you? Smart, Funny, kind.

What is something you want people to know about your experience/ diagnosis/ condition?  I  have Cerebral Palsy because I had a head bleed when I was born. They thought I would be severely handicapped, or might not make it, but look at me now! Having CP doesn’t mean that I am different. It doesn’t mean that I’m not smart. It doesn’t mean I’m less of a person. It means I have a physical disability. It means it may take me more time to get from point A to point B. It doesn’t mean my feelings are different from yours. Please understand that I am the same and have the same feelings as you. Please be patient and give me time when I need it. Please do not stare at me or make fun of me. This is the way I feel about CP.

Thanks for letting us get to know you more, Bryce.  We appreciate all that you do for CMN and MizzouThon!
