Miracle Monday: Suzi
Happy #MiracleMonday!
Hi everyone, meet Suzi! Suzi and her family live in Columbia, last week you met her twin sister, Layla. Suzi was born nine weeks early at 31 weeks gestation and weighed 3 pounds, 9 ounces. Her mom, Molly, remembers the unbelievable feeling of holding her tiny three-pound baby, with all her wires and tubing.
Suzi spent eight weeks in the Children’s Hospital NICU. During that time our team worked to help Suzi’s body learn to stabilize its body temperature through the use of a Giraffe Omnibed. These incubators are used by almost all NICU patients and is a piece of equipment donations to Children’s Miracle Network helps provide.
