Miracle Monday: Lizzy Sue
Happy #MiracleMonday!
Let’s start this Monday off by getting to know Lizzy Sue. She is six years old and was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at two weeks old. Daily treatments for cystic fibrosis take time, patience and persistence. Each day, Lizzy Sue completes about two and a half hours of breathing treatments/therapies, 30 minutes of physical therapy in her “vest,” and takes three different inhaled medications and over 20 oral medications. Through everything, she keeps a smile on her face and works to power through any obstacle she faces! Read below to get to know more about Lizzy Sue.

- What is your favorite food? Steak and mashed potatoes
- What is your favorite movie? Descendants and Sandlot
- What is your favorite Disney princess/ super hero/ athlete? Mal from Descendants
- What is your favorite holiday? Christmas
- Where is your favorite place to be/travel to? The beach
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Dancing on my competitive dance team and swimming
- What is your favorite game to play? Yahtzee and Freeze Dance
- What are three words to describe you? Spunky, positive, and brave
- What is something you want people to know about your experience/ diagnosis/ condition? CF is hard work! I have to do so much every day to try and stay healthy, but I won’t let it get me down or keep me from doing the things I love. I won’t ever stop fighting until there is a cure!!
